Welcome to the GEPARD training on Diversity, Equality, and Inclusion, specifically focusing on the unit dedicated to Discrimination. In this unit, we delve into three key sections designed to enhance your understanding and practical application of these concepts. Firstly, we will define and explore the various facets of discrimination. Next, we'll introduce the EU Racial Equality Directive, shedding light on its significance and implications. The third section employs hands-on activities, allowing you to navigate real-life scenarios through a conflict resolution approach.

Throughout the training, we leverage multimedia resources, including videos and supplementary reading material, such as the European Commission's insightful document on the limits and potential of indirect discrimination. Ensure to delve into at least Part I of this resource for a comprehensive understanding. The scenarios provided, coupled with notes on conflict resolution, serve as practical tools to hone your skills in resolving diversity-related issues.
